Summary:

This course introduces users to importing, mapping and visualising surveyed utility data, using attributes for modelling and manipulation of data, then exporting attributes with the data. The course then progresses to designing new utilities using several tools within 12d Model to give the user an understanding of the options available as well as their pros and cons.

 

Prerequisites:

Experience in 12d Model, with completion of the Civil Design Basics course.

  • Designing utilities using Super Alignments (IP and Element methods)

  • Utilities within the MTF
  • Create/edit service conduit/water main
  • Trenching of Water strings
  • Plotting
