Chains are an incredibly powerful tool within 12d, allowing you to organise complex workflows so that they can be easily processed, and those workflows reliably and quickly run consistently across an entire organisation.
Course Content:
In this course, you will cover:
- Capturing panels to be run automatically, or interactively, within a Chain.
- Creating and applying view favourites files to add specific models to views.
- Adding conditional ‘if statements’ to Chains to introduce flow control.
- Creating Model, TIN, Text and String parameters to substitute values into captured panels.
- Introducing prompts to allow the user to select only what needs to be substituted into captured panels.
- Substituting parameters into the PPF Editor, allowing multiple road plots from one PPF.
- Configuring Grid parameters to substitute values into grids.
- Linking Chains to custom user menus and toolbars.
- Running Chains automatically on project startup.
- Compiling Chains to protect your IP.
